This article will help you to keep G DATA Mobile Internet Security for Android up to date.
By default, G DATA Mobile Internet Security is updated automatically each day.
However, it is also possible to start an update manually.
To do this, proceed as follows:
Step 1. Open G DATA Mobile Internet Security.
Step 2. Click the white icon in the shape of two rotating arrows on the top right hand of the window. This will start the update process in the background.
Step 3. Once the update is done, you will be notified by the message box pictured below. Click OK.
Step 4. Your application is now up to date.
If you wish to change the frequency of the updates, proceed as follows:
Step 1. Open G DATA Mobile Internet Security.
Step 2. Click on thename Internet Security on the top left hand of the window. This will open the navigation menu.
Step 3. Scroll down to the bottom of the menu and click Settings.
Step 4. Under UPDATES, click on Automatic to enable or disable automatic updates. Click on Interval to change the frequency of the updates.
Step 5. Once you have configured the settings, use the back button of your Android device to get back to the main interface of G DATA.
