You may need an activation code for your Kaspersky application not only for activation after the purchase but also for installation on a different device or in case any license problems occur. You can find the instructions on where you can find an activation code in this article. If it is not possible to find the code, you can recover it.
The easiest way to do so is by using your My Kaspersky account. With your My Kaspersky account you can:
- Send the activation code by email. Find instructions below.
- View the activation code in the license properties. Find instructions below.
What to do if you do not have a My Kaspersky account
If you have a device with an activated application on it, connect the application to My Kaspersky and follow the instructions below.
If you do not have a device with an already activated application or you do not want to connect to My Kaspersky, follow instructions in this article.
How to send the activation code to your email
If the application was connected to your account on My Kaspersky, you can send the activation code to your email. For instructions on how to connect the application to the My Kaspersky account, see this article.
To send the activation code to your email:
- Sign in to My Kaspersky.
- Click your email address and select Account settings.
- Go to the Activation codes tab. If necessary, you can change the email address to which the code will be sent. Click Send.
You will get a message with the activation codes, names of applications and devices on which the applications are installed.
How to view the activation code in My Kaspersky
This option is not applicable to Kaspersky Security Cloud and Kaspersky Password Manager.
- Connect the application to My Kaspersky. See this article for instructions.
- Sign in to My Kaspersky.
- Go to the Licenses tab and find the Activation code field.
You will see the 20-digit activation code.
