Should you encounter activation errors such as “The key is already in use”, we recommend deleting the license key from the application and activating the product once again.

Before deleting the key from the application, make sure you still have the activation code. You will not be able to reactivate the application without an activation code. To save your activation code, connect the application to My Kaspersky. See this article for instructions. Information about the license will then appear in the Licenses section of the My Kaspersky portal.

To delete the key and activate the application again:

  1. Click License in the lower-right corner of the application window. The link may be named Subscription if you have a subscription licensing plan.

  1. Click Show details.

  1. Click Bin icon.

Your Kaspersky application will be reactivated.
