This article will help you to add an additional device to your existing G DATA license for Windows or Android.
Please keep in mind that Windows and Android licenses work separately.
You can extend a Windows license from 1 up to 5 devices and an Android license from 1 up to 3 devices, however you can’t combine both license types.
Your license can be managed (renewed, extended or upgraded) via the G DATA UpgradeCenter.
If you have any G DATA software installed on your PC, the easiest way to access the UpgradeCenter is as follows:
Step 1. Open the G DATA software.
Step 2. Click Protect more PCs… on the bottom left corner.
Step 3. This will open the UpgradeCenter and automatically log you in with the User Name and Password of the G DATA program.

The UpgradeCenter shows the expiration date of your license and the type of your product.
To add an additional device to your license, proceed as follows:
Step 1. Click EXTEND LICENSES.
Step 2. Scroll down to Computers to protect and select the total amount of devices you would like your license to cover.
Now click Buy extension.
Step 3. Check in Your basket if the transaction you have selected is correctly displayed.
If there are extra unwanted items, click Edit then remove them via the small red X under the column quantity.
Step 4. Scroll down to Your details and fill in the required information.
Now click save address.
Step 5. Select a preferred payment method, fill in the required information and click Next step.
Step 6. Check carefully if all the displayed information is correct, then check the confirmation box at the left of
“I have read and understood the General Terms and Conditions” and
“I have read and understood the Right of cancellation”.
Now click next.
Step 7. You have successfully extended your G DATA license to additional devices.
You will receive an email confirming the transaction from [email protected] within a couple of minutes.
