AVG Secure VPN is a paid product that requires a subscription to use. After installing AVG Secure VPN, you may need to manually activate your subscription using a valid activation code or your AVG Account.
AVG Account for Windows PC
To activate AVG Secure VPN using your AVG Account:
- Double-click the AVG Secure VPN icon on your Windows desktop to open the application.
- Go to
☰Menu ▸ Sign In. - Enter the credentials for your AVG Account that is linked to the email address you used to purchase AVG Secure VPN, then clickSign In. Alternatively, select theCreate Accounttab to create a new AVG Account.
- If you have more than one valid subscription, click the down arrow to select the subscription you want to use. ClickContinueto return to theMy Subscriptionscreen.
Your AVG Secure VPN subscription is now active on Windows.
Activation code for Windows PC
To activate AVG Secure VPN using an activation code:
- Double-click the AVG Secure VPN icon on your Windows desktop to open the application.
- Go to

To activate AVG Secure VPN using your AVG Account:

Your AVG Secure VPN subscription is now active on Mac.
Activation code for MAC
To activate AVG Secure VPN using an activation code:

Your AVG Secure VPN subscription is now active on Android.
Activation code for Android
To activate AVG Secure VPN using an activation code:
- On the Home screen of your device, tap the AVG Secure VPN icon to open the app.
- Tap Already purchased?.
- Select Enter activation code.
- Type or paste your activation code (including hyphens) into the text box, then tapActivate.
Your AVG Secure VPN subscription is now active on Android.
AVG Account for Iphone/Ipad
To activate AVG Secure VPN using your AVG Account:
- On the Home screen of your device, tap the AVG Secure VPN icon to open the app.
- Tap Already Purchased?.
- Select Sign In.
- Enter the credentials for your AVG Account that is linked to the email address you used to purchase AVG Secure VPN, then tap Sign In.
Your AVG Secure VPN subscription is now active on iOS.
Activation code
Due to changes in the App Store Review Guidelines, it is not possible to activate AVG Secure VPN for iOS with an activation code in app version 2.0 and later. We recommend activating the app using your AVG Account.
