AVG Secure VPN is a virtual private network that secures your internet connection using an encrypted tunnel to disguise your real location.

AVG Secure VPN is a paid product that requires a subscription to use. This article explains how to install the application and then either start a free-trial period, purchase a subscription, or activate an existing subscription.

Install AVG Secure VPN for windows PC

  1. Click the button below to download theAVG Secure VPNsetup file, and save it to a familiar location on your PC (by default, downloaded files are saved to yourDownloadsfolder).

  2. Right-click the downloaded setup fileavg_secure_vpn_setup.exe, and selectRun as administratorfrom the context menu.
  3. If prompted for permission by the User Account Control dialog, click Yes.

  1. To change the default setup language, click the current language in the top-right corner of the screen. Then, click Install Now.
  2. Wait while setup installs AVG Secure VPN on your PC. AVG Secure VPN opens automatically after installation.
  3. Click the red (OFF) slider to connect to AVG Secure VPN servers.
  4. Select one of the options below:
    • Start Trial: Start a free-trial period for access to all AVG Secure VPN features for a limited time period.
    • Buy Now: Purchase an AVG Secure VPN subscription.
    • Already purchased? If you purchased AVG Secure VPN before installation, activate your subscription by either signing in to the application with your AVG Account credentials, or entering a valid activation code. For detailed instructions, refer to the following article:

Install AVG Secure VPN for MAC

  1. Click the button below to download theAVG Secure VPNsetup file, and save it to a familiar location on your Mac (by default, downloaded files are saved to yourDownloads folder).

  2. Double-click the downloaded setup fileavg_securevpn.dmg.
  3. Double-click theAVG Secure VPNicon.
  4. Click Continueto determine ifAVG Secure VPNcan be installed.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Click Continueto confirm that you have read theSoftware License Agreement, then clickAgreeto confirm that you accept the terms.
  7. Click Installto proceed with default installation, or clickChange Install Location…or Customize if you want to make changes to the default setup.
  8. If prompted, use your Touch ID or enter your administrator User Name and Password, then click Install Software.
  9. Wait while setup installs AVG Secure VPN on your Mac, then click Close. AVG Secure VPN opens automatically after installation.
  10. Click the red (OFF) slider to connect to AVG Secure VPN servers.
  11. Select one of the options below:
    • Start Trial: Start a free-trial period for access to all AVG Secure VPN features for a limited time period.
    • Buy Now: Purchase an AVG Secure VPN subscription.

Install AVG Secure VPN for Android

  1. On your Android device, tap the button below to open the AVG Secure VPN product page in Google Play Store.

  2. Tap Install to download and install the app. When installation is complete, tap Open to open AVG Secure VPN.
  3. Select one of the options below:
    • Join Now: Purchase an AVG Secure VPN subscription.

Install AVG Secure VPN for Iphone/Ipad

  1. On your iOS device, tap the button below to open the AVG Secure VPN product page in the App Store.
    GO TO THE APP STORE
  2. Tap Get to download and install the app. When installation is complete, tap Open to open AVG Secure VPN.
  3. Select one of the options below:
    • Subscribe Now: Purchase an AVG Secure VPN subscription.
