  • Remove the ‘ESET Anti-Theft is available’ notification on your home screen
  • Disable the Anti-Theft feature in your ESET Windows home product

Solution

Disable the Anti-Theft Reminder

  1. Open the main program window of your Windows ESET product.
  2. In the Anti-Theft is available notification, click Do not remind me again. To enable Anti-Theft at any time, click Tools → Anti-Theft.

Disable Anti-Theft protection

Anti-Theft should be enabled on portable devices

Anti-Theft is designed to protect any sensitive data stored on your computer and helps you to locate your computer in the event it is lost or stolen. This feature is intended for laptops or other mobile devices that are at risk of theft or loss during routine travel.   1. Open the main program window of your Windows ESET product.
  2. Click Setup → Security tools.

  1. Click the slider bar next to Anti-Theft to disable it.

  1. Click Disable and remove when the information message is displayed.

  1. Type your myESET Email address and Password, and then click Disconnect.

  1. Click Close. Anti-Theft has been successfully disabled.
