If you’ve lost your activation code, connect an already activated application to your My Kaspersky account. To learn how to connect the application to My Kaspersky, see this article.
To update the application manually, install the latest version on top of the previous version:
- Download the installation package from the Kaspersky website.
- Install the latest version of the application. Find the installation instructions below.
- Restart your computer.
- If the application was not activated automatically, connect it to your My Kaspersky account.
The application will be installed and work-ready.
How to tackle related problems
If an error occurs when installing a new version of the application, delete it and install from scratch:
- If you don’t have the installation package, download it from the Kaspersky website.
- Uninstall the application. Make sure that the License information check box is selected in the Saving objects window. To learn how to uninstall an application, see this article.
- Restart your computer.
- Install the latest version of the application. See the References section below for the installation instructions.
- If the application was not activated automatically, connect it to your My Kaspersky account.
The application will be installed and work-ready.
