To troubleshoot issues with Kaspersky Security Center 10 components, Kaspersky Lab technical support specialists may request trace files for the component that is malfunctioning.
You can get trace files in one of the following ways:
- Using the klactgui.exe utility. See this aticle for instructions.
- Using special .reg files. See below for instructions.
Starting from Service Pack 3 (version 10.5.1781.0), we recommend to only use the klactgui.exe utility to collect trace files.
How to get trace files using .reg files
- Download the archive you require from the table below.
- Unpack it on the computer where the issue is occurring.
- Run the *_ON.reg file to enable tracing.
- Reproduce the issue.
- Send the trace file to Kaspersky Lab technical support.
- Run the *_OFF.reg file to disable tracing.
