STEP 1: Add the user account to the local user group

  1. Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
  2. In the Run dialog box, type the following, and then click OK.

    lusrmgr.msc

    If the User Account Control prompt appears, click Continue.

  3. In the Local Users and Groups management window, in the left pane, click Users.
  4. In the right pane, right-click and select New Users.
  5. Type the domain user account name that you want to add to Norton Family. Type password and confirm password, and then click Create.
  6. Exit the Local Users and Groups management window.

STEP 2: Add the user account to Norton Family

  1. In the notification area, click the Norton Family icon, and then click Edit Accounts.
  2. Type your parent email and password, and then click OK.
  3. Next to the child profile that you want to assign the domain user account to monitor to, click Edit.
  4. Click signs in as, and then check the user account name which you have created in Step 1.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Click OK.
