During the installation or removal of a Kaspersky Lab application you may receive the error: “Failed to install the application. Error 1316. A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file [path to the file]”.
Solution
To fix this problem, do the following:
- Run the removal tool to remove Kaspersky Lab applications from your computer.
- Restart your computer and run the installation of the application once again.

If the issue persists, submit a request to Kaspersky technical support by choosing the topic and filling out the form.
