Commands for Malwarebytes AdwCleaner

You can use a command line interface (CLI) to run Malwarebytes AdwCleaner functions.

1. Open your command line interface.
2. Change your directory to the location of the (full name) .exe file.
3. Run the command /eula to agree to the end user license agreement.
4. Run a command from the table below. When you run a command, the output files are saved in C:\AdwCleaner\Logs or C:\AdwCleaner\Quarantine.
   

   Command	Description
   /?	Display the help summary.
   /clean	Scan and quarantine detections.
   /scan	Scan and list the detections.

   The following options can be combined with the commands above.

   Option	Description
   /noreboot	Scan and quarantine detections without rebooting. Use with the /clean command.
   /path	Change the working directory. When not specified, C:\AdwCleaner is used as working directory to store quarantine, logs, and settings. The directory is created when it doesn’t exist.
   /preinstalled	Scan and quarantine detections including preinstalled applications.
