NOTICE – On August 4 2021, Malwarebytes Endpoint Security reached its End of Life. For more information, see the Malwarebytes Endpoint Security End of Life notice. To upgrade to a supported version of Malwarebytes, see Malwarebytes Endpoint Protection or Malwarebytes for Teams.

Sometimes the support agent will request Managed Client logs to look into the issue further. You can collect all of a Managed Client’s local logs at once using the Collect Client Log tool. This tool collects:

  • Malwarebytes for Anti-Malware logs
  • Malwarebytes for Anti-Exploit logs
  • Client communicator (Sccomm) logs
  • Select configuration files

The tool can be run from this location:

32bit installs

C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes’ Managed Client\CollectClientLog.exe

64bit installs

C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes’ Managed Client\CollectClientLog.exe

Run the tool as an administrator. Once the tool runs, it will ask for a folder to store the logs. All logs are stored in a .zip format.

When you are finished, attach it to the email in the reply back to the support agent. If you are collecting it for a new case, please submit a request for a ticket on the Malwarebytes Support site.
