The update error codes -1011 and -1002 indicate that the Mac doesn’t have internet access. They are caused by an issue with the internet connection – it times out because it’s not at full strength, or it’s temporarily interrupted.
Usually, such an error message is followed by a successful update as soon as the Mac reconnects to the internet. To check this, open the Notifications section of Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac. This will reveal all product events and if the last one is a successful update, then you have nothing to worry about. If it’s not, and you are using a Wi-Fi connection, try to connect your Mac to the internet using the cable, and perform a manual update. Both errors indicate that our update servers are in the middle of the synchronization process. When encountering one of these error codes, wait a few hours before trying to update Bitdefender again.

Try to update again at a later time. Restart the Mac then try again to update Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac. Connect the Mac to another network: A.
