Changes/Improvements
- Added Scan History framework to the Scan component which provides the following features:
- View and Delete previous Scan and/or Repair Reports of the Malware Scanner or Issue Scanner.
- Scan History logs are encrypted and stored on the client’s PC in c:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes Toolset\Logs (Vista-10) or c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes Toolset\Logs (XP only).
- Quickly View/Open a selected Scan History entry in the list by Double Clicking it or pressing the Enter key.
- Quickly Delete a selected Scan History entry by pressing the Delete key.
- Export a summary of the currently loaded scan history report to a text file or the clipboard.
- Also includes basic system and OS information from Inform.
- Export a summary of the current scan and/or repair results to a text file or the clipboard.
- Also includes basic system and OS information from Inform.

- Added MBTS Updater framework which provides the following features:
- Automated in-place update/upgrade capability with notification bar of the Malwarebytes Toolset.
- Toolset Updater UI to perform, monitor, and control the update, download, and upgrade processes.
- Dynamic updating and/or downloading with special notification icons for standalone Malwarebytes products in the Toolbox.
- Standalone Toolset Updater in the Toolbox so you can manually check for updates.
- Added the following Malwarebytes Support Tools to the Toolbox (Protect):
- MB-Clean – Utility that automatically force uninstalls Malwarebytes products, performs manual clean-up, saves the product key, and initiates a self-installation if requested. This is commonly used to do a clean reinstall of the latest version of Malwarebytes where the existing installation was damaged or corrupted.
- MB-Check – Utility to gather and export detailed log files of currently installed Malwarebytes products. This is commonly used to help with troubleshooting Malwarebytes products.
- Updated Toolbox to provide the following capabilities:
- Display a download icon when a standalone product is not detected in the MBTS file structure (e.g. AdwCleaner, JRT, MBAR, MB3 installer, etc).
- Display an update icon when an update is available for a standalone product (e.g. AdwCleaner, JRT, MBAR, MB3 installer, etc).
- Update Default Services Issue Scanner to prevent checking of the Computer Browser Service (browser) on Windows 8.1 or 10 systems that have disabled the SMB 1.0/ CIFS File Sharing Support feature/component of Windows.
Note: disabling SMB 1.0/ CIFS File Sharing Support feature is a common security recommendation by Microsoft to reduce security risks. This feature will be completely removed in the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. - Updated AdwCleaner to version 7.0.2.1
- Updated Junkware Removal Tool to version 8.1.4
- Updated Malwarebytes 3 installer to version 3.2.2.2018
- Updated keyboard navigation to allow you to Exit/Close a pop-up module by pressing ESC.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug that caused the MBTS Updater framework to enter a download/update loop if MBTS structure had been placed in root.
- Fixed a bug that may cause background apps or windows to take focus over MBTS.exe.
- Fixed a bug that caused file explorer dialog box issues on Windows Vista.
- Fixed a bug in MyTools when special characters existed in a path.
- Fixed a bug in MyTools to properly handle quotes used in commands.
- Fixed several keyboard navigation bugs.
- Fixed several bugs reported on the forums, directly from Techbench members, and from internal testing/development.
