Upgrade from AVG 9.0 to AVG 2012

Make sure you have your AVG License on hand before you start with the upgrade, to retrieve your license click here.

  1. Download AVG 2012 from here and save the file to your desktop.
  2. Download the AVG Removal tool from here and save the file to your desktop.
  3. Firstly Uninstall AVG V9.0, go to Start > All Programs > AVG 9.0 > Uninstall AVG
  4. Select the buttons to remove the settings and the Virus vault.
  5. When the Uninstallation is completed Restart your Computer.
  6. Run the AVG Removal tool stored on your desktop and accept any questions it may ask you. your computer will restart when finished if not, Restart the computer manually.
  7. Double click your installation file to start the installation of AVG 2012
