Uninstall previous versions AVG

To uninstall AVG from your computer:

1. Uninstall via the Control Panel

   WINDOWS XP AND 7

   • Go to Start -> (Settings) -> Control Panel.
   • Open (Programs) -> Programs and Features, or Add or Remove Programs.
   • Select AVG in the list of programs.
   • Click the Uninstall or Change/Remove button.
   • Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the uninstallation.
   • Restart your computer.

   WINDOWS 8

   • Right-click AVG on the Start screen.
   • Click Uninstall in the bottom bar.
   • Select AVG in the list of programs.
   • Click the Uninstall or Change/Remove button.
   • Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the uninstallation.
   • Restart your computer.

   WINDOWS 10

   • Click the Windows button in the bottom left corner.
   • Click settings in the bar.
   • Click System in the panel.
   • click Apps and Features in the menu.
   • Select AVG in the list of programs.
   • Click the Uninstall or Change/Remove button.
   • Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the uninstallation.
   • Restart your computer.

3.  Use The AVG Clear Tool
   

   Please use the link below to download and run the AVG Clear Tool

• Open the AVG Clear tool, click Yes in the User Account control dialog.
• Click No in the Windows safe mode dialog.
• Select the installed version of AVG.
• Tick uninstall Zen and Framework box.
• Click uninstall, then click Restart computer.
