ESET business product in Limited Support status
This article applies to an ESET product version that is currently in Limited Support status and is scheduled to reach End of Life status soon.

- Starting with version 7.0, ESET Remote Administrator was renamed to ESET Security Management Center
- Starting with version 7.1, ESET Security Management Center does not support 32-bit machines for the Server installation
- Starting with version 8.0, ESET Security Management Center was renamed to ESET PROTECT

Solution
You can upgrade ERA or ESMC directly to the versions described below. If you need to upgrade between versions that are not upgradable directly, you need to upgrade to the latest available version and then upgrade again. We recommended that you always upgrade to the latest available version.
For example, if you are running ERA 6.3, upgrade it to ESMC 7.0 first and then upgrade to version 7.2.

Always make sure before the upgrade that you are running the supported operating system and database. This information is available in the Online Help for each product.
