Solution

Many email clients are compatible with various ESET products for Windows. If an email client is compatible with ESET products, regardless of the protocol used, all email received is scanned for threats and spam (in programs with the antispam feature). Additionally, the ESET Endpoint Security toolbar and ESET Antispam toolbar will display in the email client.

To determine which ESET product is best suited to your needs, locate your current email client in the Email Client column and view the compatible ESET software in the adjacent rows (indicated by green check marks ).

*** ESET products will scan POP3/POP3S and IMAP/IMAPS email for the presence of malicious code while using Mozilla Thunderbird 6+ or other email clients not listed above. Email may not be scanned for spam, however.

BETA email clients

In some cases, beta email clients are not supported.

Troubleshooting
