After upgrading to Malwarebytes for Windows version 4.2.0, the Malwarebytes system tray notification in the bottom-right part of your screen may display an incorrect renewal date. In Settings > Account > Status, the renewal status may also display an incorrect date.

To verify your renewal date, log in to My Account. If the renewal date in the app does not match the renewal date in My Account, follow these instructions to resolve the issue:

  1. Deactivate license key in Malwarebytes for Windows
  2. Reactivate your subscription in Malwarebytes for Windows
