Cookies are files copied on your device by certain websites in order to save your preferences and provide you with personalized content. Cookies are not mandatory, therefore, users can decline them entirely. However, one of the downsides, in this case, is that some websites will no longer work properly. If you encounter such issues, you can enable cookies in your browser by simply following the instructions below.
For Google Chrome
1. Click the Chrome menu button (⋮) in the upper right corner of the window.
2. Click Settings.
3. Scroll down and click Advanced.
4. Under Privacy and security, click Site Settings.
5. Click Cookies.
6. In the upper part of the window, make sure the first switch is set to ON. You should see Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended).
NOTE: The switch is set to ON when it is displayed in blue.
7. Also, the switch next to “Block third-party cookies” should be set to ON.
For Mozilla Firefox
1. Click the Firefox menu button (≡) in the upper right corner of the window and select Content Blocking.
2. Here, you have two options:
• You can select Standard, under Contact Blocking, and restore the default settings.
• Or you can select Custom and clear the check mark next to Cookies.
For Microsoft Edge
1. Click the More (···) button in the upper-right corner of the window.
2. Select Settings.
3. Scroll down and click View advanced settings.
4. Click on the drop-down menu under Cookies and select Don’t block cookies.
For Safari
1. Click on the Safari menu in the upper-left corner of the screen (next to the Apple logo) and select Preferences.
2. Go to the Privacy tab.
3. Uncheck the box next to Block all cookies.
