Norton Security lets you install on up to ten different devices. If you reach this limit, you cannot install on another device. You may need to remove an unused installation or purchase a different product to meet your needs.

Choose the number of devices (or operating systems) you need to protect to determine the best solution.

Ten or fewer devices to protect?

If you have installed your product on a device you are no longer using, you might be able to transfer license to a new device.

  1. Sign in to your account.

    If you have obtained your product from a service provider, use the partner login link and partner challenge code, or 4-digit partner unit ID you received in your welcome mail.

  2. In the My Norton page, hover over the account icon or photo and click Manage My Subscriptions.
  3. Click Help, and then click Manage License.
  4. In the Manage Licenses page, choose the device that you no longer use, and then click Remove License.
  5. Click Yes to confirm.
  6. To install Norton on a new device, click Install Now and follow the on-screen instructions.

More than ten devices?
