The Avira Antivirus “Quick scan” function is enabled by default and cannot be disabled or deleted permanently.
Once Avira Antivirus is installed, “Quick scan” performs a regular system scan in the background every 7 days. This way can be ensured maximum protection against malware.
Note
However, “Quick Scan” can be deleted temporarily under Scan → Scheduler → Scheduled Scans. However, “Quick Scan” is reactivated automatically the next time Avira Antivirus is updated.
