Update status “Click here to reboot now” after successfully updating/restarting also – REBOOT PENDING (K7 computing)

Scenario: You may get reboot pending or restart the PC to get new update while updating K7 product.

Steps to follow:

  1. Make sure you have restarted the PC already, and still issue persist even after restarted, go to the registry location below.
  2. Click on start -> Click on Run -> Type regedit and enter.
  3. Go to – ComputerHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREWOW6432NodeK7 ComputingK7TotalSecurityCommonInfoUpdates – Change value to 1 – 0 under value name RebootPending – Issue will get resolved.
