Setting up the app notifications (F-Secure)

1. On the main view, select , and then select Settings.
2. Under Notifications, tap App notifications.
3. Turn Show notifications off if you want to block all notifications.
4. Turn Show notifications on to select which of the following notifications you want to turn on or off:
   • Harmful items alerts
   • Installed app is safe
   • Important app updates
   • F-Secure Elements Mobile Protection
   • Antivirus service
   • Your attention is needed
5. For each of the above notification categories that you turn on, you can select the following options:
   • Alert – you will hear a sound when you receive a notification from the app. When this option is on, you can select and turn on the following options:
     • Show as pop-up – when this option is on, a message is shown on your lock screen
     • Sound – you can choose the default notification sound or a custom one from the list.
     • Vibrate – when on, you hear a vibration when you receive a notification
     • Lock screen – you can select to see the content of the notification on the lock screen, hide the content, or not to see the notifications at all.
     • Ignore “Do not disturb” – when this option is on, the app will show the notifications even if the Do not disturb-status is on.
   • Silent – there is no audible alert to let you know the app has sent a notification. When this option is on, you can select and turn on the following options:
     • Minimize notifications – when this is turned on, no pop-up notifications are shown.
     • Lock screen – you can select to see the content of the notification on the lock screen, hide the content, or not to see the notifications at all.

       Note: This option is visible only if the Minimize notifications option is turned off.

     • Ignore “Do not disturb” – when this option is on, the app will show the notifications even if the Do not disturb-status is on.
