Running a discovery scan (F-Secure)

To run a discovery scan:

1. 1. Select the checkboxes of the scans that you want to run.

The action bar appears at the bottom of the page.

1. 1. Select Start scanning from the action bar.

      Tip: You can click the Play button in the Status column to run a single scan.

   2. While the scan is running, you can follow its progress by checking the Status column.

A scan can have one of the following statuses:

• Idle – the scan has never been started before.
• Initialized – the scan has been picked up by the scan node and will start shortly.
• Queued – the scan is waiting for an available slot on the scan node.
• Running – the scan is in progress on the scan node, and you can move your cursor over the progress bar to see more detailed information.
• Completed – the scan has finished.

1. When the scan is completed, click the name of the scan to view the results.
