Note
The master password you have created for your Avira Password Manager is not saved by Avira.
If you have forgotten your password, Avira cannot restore it.
In this case you must reset your master password.
However, by resetting the master password, your stored data will be permanently and irrevocably deleted.
Workaround
In case you have the Password Manager app installed on your mobile phone, you can bypass password reset by unlocking the app on your device using face recognition or fingerprinting.
Once your app is unlocked go to Settings and change the master password. This way you will not lose any data stored in Password Manager.

If you cannot use the above workaround, you will need to reset your master password via the Password Manager dashboard.
- Enter your credentials and click Log in.
- Click Forgot Master Password bellow the Unlock button.
- Follow the instructions.
Note
Avira Password Manager lets you export/import your existing data. This means you can save your existing data or import new data.
