A repair installation of Avira Security has to be performed via the Windows settings.
- Click in the lower left corner the Windows icon → Settings.
- Click Apps and search for Avira Security in the “Apps & features” area.
- Select Avira Security.
- Click Uninstall to start the Avira installer.
- Once the Avira installer opens click Repair.
Note
A repair installation will set all app settings back to default.
