Configure the F-Secure Elements Security Center

1. 1. Log in to the F-Secure Elements Security Center.
   2. Go to Templates and open the Network scan templates tab.
   3. Click Add network scan template or click the menu icon in the Actions column and select Edit to edit an existing template.
   4. Select Windows credentials from the Authentication method drop-down menu.
   5. Specify which credentials should be used:
      • Use the scan node’s service account
      • Specify credentials explicitly
   6. Choose which sources the WUA can use when checking the Windows system for missing patches:
      • Microsoft Update Server or Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
      • Windows Updates database file

If Windows Updates database file is enabled, you must also specify a network share where the Windows patch database can be uploaded.

1. Apply the scan configuration to a scan group or an individual scan target and run the scan.
