Blocking hardware devices (F-Secure)

By default, rules do not block any devices. To block devices, follow these instructions.

1. 1. Under Profiles, select a profile.

The Profile page opens.

1. From the menu on the left, select Device control.
2. Under Device access rules, you can add or remove rules to control the devices and allow or block access to them. To add a rule, do the following:
   1. 1. Select Add rule.
      2. Enter the device name and its hardware ID.
      3. Choose either to allow or block access to the device.

   A device that has Access to device set to Block cannot be accessed, when the rule is set as active.

   1. Select Publish to publish the new rule.
