Instructions on how to add the F-Secure Elements Mobile Protection Android app in the Android Enterprise context to VMware Workspace ONE MDM.

    1. On the VMware Workspace ONE administration portal, go to Apps & Books > Applications > Native.

The List view opens

    1. Select the Public tab, and then Add application.
    2. On the Add Application view, do the following:
        1. From the Platform drop-down menu, select Android.
        2. Enter the application name: mobile protection elements.
        3. Select Next.

      The Apps page opens.

    3. Select F-Secure Elements Mobile Protection.
    4. In the F-Secure Elements Mobile Protection view, select Approve > Select.

The Edit application view opens.

    1. Select the SDK tab, and from the Application Profile drop-down menu, select MP strings @ F-Secure.
    2. Select Save and assign.

The F-Secure Elements Mobile Protection – Assignment page opens.

    1. Select Distribution and do the following:
      1. In the Name field, enter a name for the distribution, for example, alldevices.
      2. In the Assignment groups, select your preferred device distribution group.
    2. Next, select Application Configuration and do the following:
      1. In the Registration key field, enter the product subscription key.

        Note: You can find the Mobile Protection subscription key in the F-Secure Elements Security Center under Endpoint Protection > Subscriptions.

      2. In the First name (optional) field, enter {FirstName}
      3. In the Last name (optional) field, enter {LastName}
      4. In the Alias (optional) field, enter {EnrollmentUser}
      5. In the Email (optional) field, enter {EmailAddress}
      6. Select Create.

The Assignments tab opens.

    1. Select Save.

The Preview Assigned Devices page opens.

  1. Select Publish.
