A network typically consists of the computers and other devices that share your Internet connection.

Each time Norton performs a network scan, it reports the network status in green, orange, or red. If it identifies any potential network attack, the network status appears in red or orange. If you do not want to take the recommended action, you can choose to trust the network so that Norton does not prompt you again.

Change the trust level of your current network

  1. Start Norton.
  2. In the My Norton window, next to Device Security, select Open.
  3. In the Device Security window, click Trust This Network.

Untrust a specific trusted network

  2. In the My Norton window, next to Device Security, select Open.
  3. In the Device Security window, click the drop-down arrow next to Untrust This Network and select View Trusted Networks.

You can also click the settings icon in the My Norton window and navigate to Device Security > Trusted Networks > View.

  4. In the Trusted Networks window, select the network name you do not want to trust, and click Untrust This Network.

View the list of trusted networks
