Instructions on how to install F-Secure Linux Protection using the Datto platform.
To install F-Secure Linux Protection:

- Download the latest generic F-Secure Linux Protection software installer from the F-Secure Elements Endpoint Protection portal.
- In the Datto portal, from the Components menu, under Actions, select New Component.
- From the Category drop-down menu, select Applications.
- In the Name field, enter the Deploy F-Secure Linux Protection [LIN] .
- In the Description box, enter a description for the application (optional), and select Save.
The Component Application page opens.

- From the Install command drop-down menu, select Unix (Linux, Mac OSX) and enter the script from the following file in the text field: deploy_f-secure_linux_protection.sh.
Note: You can download the deployment script at https://download.sp.f-secure.com/PSB/RMM/Datto/deploy_f-secure_linux_protection.sh.
- Edit the script to include installation of the dependencies before the actual installation step when needed. Check the needed dependencies here: https://help.f-secure.com/product.html#business/linux-protection/latest/en/task_7C893CC525EF4BA5B7B4477FDE23E40F-latest-en
- Edit valid subscription key to the script.
- Select Add file… and then select the F-Secure Linux Protection installer.
- Select Save.
- From the Install command drop-down menu, select Unix (Linux, Mac OSX) and enter the script from the following file in the text field: deploy_f-secure_linux_protection.sh.
The installer file is uploaded to the new component.
- From the Sites menu, under Managed, select Devices.
- Check the devices where you want to do the installation.
- Select to schedule a job:

- Enter a name for the scheduled job.
- In the Schedule section, select Immediately.
Note: To select another option, select Click to change….
- Under Component Name, select Add component.
The page that opens shows the component that you just created.
- Select the component and select Save.
- Select Save to launch the job.
