Using a certificate to register devices (F-Secure)

You need a subscription for F-Secure Elements Mobile Protection.

1. 1. Log into the F-Secure Elements EPP portal with your company admin account.
   2. On the sidebar, select Subscriptions.
   3. Select , and then select MDM server configuration.
   4. Scroll down, and under Download Mobile CA certificate, select Download.
   5. Save the downloaded certificate file.
   6. Deploy the certificate file to a device by, for example, MDM or by providing a download link and attaching it to an email.
   7. After receiving the link, users start the installation by selecting the certificate file, and then install the file when prompted.

      Note: With MDM, the installation may be automatic.

The Mobile CA certificate appears under trusted user credentials in the device’s security settings.

1. Inform end-users to start the app or bring it to foreground for F-Secure Elements Mobile Protection to detect the certificate and authenticate it to F-Secure Elements Mobile Protection.
