With Autofill, you can log in to apps and websites without needing to enter usernames and passwords.

Important: If you use Autofill to log in to an app, these instructions apply only to devices running Android 8.0 and 8.1. If you use Autofill to log in to a website, the Autofill option is available only on devices running Android 9.0 and newer.

Note: In some device models, all apps may not fully support Autofill.

You need to have the username, password and web address of the service saved in F-Secure ID PROTECTION for Autofill to work. When you log in to an app or website with credentials that are saved in F-Secure ID PROTECTION, you can have the app enter your username and password automatically.

To turn on Autofill on your Android device:

  1. Go to Settings > System > Language and input > Autofill service.

Note: Depending on your device model, the access to Autofill may be different from the above. Go to device settings and search for “autofill” or consult your device manual for more information.

  2. Select ID PROTECTION as your service, and then select OK.

You can now use Autofill on your device.
