This topic describes how to manually create a FREEDOME VPN log file if generating the log file in the normal way does not work.

Use the following alternative way of generating the FREEDOME VPN log file if FREEDOME VPN for example crashes before you can generate the logs:

  1. Open Finder.
  2. Navigate to Applications > Utilities > Terminal.
  3. Enter the following command: sh /Applications/Freedome.app/Contents/Resources/FreedomeGatherSupportInfo.sh
  4. Press Enter.
  5. Enter your administrator password, and press Enter.

A log file named FreedomeSupportinfo.zip is generated in the Documents folder. You can attach the log file to your support request for further assistance.
