App supervision is supported on Android phone and tablet.
Mobile app activity report displays the list of apps that are installed or uninstalled on your child’s Android device. It also shows you the amount of time your child spends on each of their apps. However, app usage time can be retrieved only from devices that run Android 6 or later. You can also block an app if you think it is inappropriate for your child to use.
You can use Norton website or Norton Family app for parents to view the activities of your child.
Use Norton website or Norton Family app for iOS
- Do one of the following:
- Sign in to your account.
- Open Norton Family for Parents app on iOS.
- Select a child whose mobile app activity you want to view.
- On the Mobile App section, see the apps that your child used often. You can also find the total amount of time that your child spends on an app.
- To see the detailed report, click .
- Do one or combination of the following to filter the web activities:
- Click to filter the activities based on a device.
- Choose the timeline for the report. You can choose to filter the activity for the current day or for the last 7, 14, or 30 days.
- See the apps that your child has installed or uninstalled on their device.
- To know more about the app, click the App name in the alert.
Use Norton Family parental control app for Android
- Open Norton Family parental control app in Parent mode.
- Tap a child whose mobile app activity you want to view.
- Go to the Activity tab.
- From the list, tap .
- Tap the time period box to view the app usage details during a specific period.
