[Solved] Using the recovery code to recover a forgotten master password (F-Secure MAC) - BEST Antivirus KBS : Largest Anti-Malware Knowlegde Base and Support

This topic explains how to recover your F-Secure ID PROTECTION master password by using the recovery code.

Important: You can only recover your master password if you have previously created a recovery code for your master password.

To recover your master password with the recovery code:

1. Open F-Secure ID PROTECTION.
2. On the login screen, select Forgot Master Password?.
3. Select Import.
4. Find and open the recovery code image file which you have created earlier.

Your master password appears on the screen.

The F-Secure ID PROTECTION app opens.
