General requirements

  • 1500 MB of free disk space

  • Internet connection (for installation and activation, participation in the Kaspersky Security Network, as well as database and program module updates)

    To access My Kaspersky, we recommend using Microsoft Internet Explorer 9.0 or later

  • Hypervisor protection is not supported on 32-bit operating systems.
  • FAT32 file system is not supported.

Kaspersky Anti-Virus supports Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox on 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems. Internet Explorer 11.0 is not supported in the compatibility mode on Microsoft Windows 10 RS5 or later.

Supported versions of Microsoft Office Outlook

The Mail Anti-Virus component is compatible with:

  • Microsoft Office Outlook 2003
  • Microsoft Office Outlook 2007
  • Microsoft Office Outlook 2010
  • Microsoft Office Outlook 2013
  • Microsoft Office Outlook 2016

The Windows Live and Windows Mail email clients included in Windows 7 and Windows 10 respectively are not supported.

Requirements for tablets

  • Intel Celeron processor at 1.66 GHz or faster
  • 1000 MB of free RAM

Requirements for netbooks

  • Intel Atom processor at 1600 MHz or faster

  • Intel GMA 950 graphics chipset or later
