Trojan-Ransom.Win32.Scraper ransomware encrypts user files to male them inaccessible and demands ransom for decryption. To decrypt the files encrypted by malware for free, use the ScraperDecryptor tool.

How to decrypt files with ScraperDecryptor

  1. Open the ScraperDecryptor archive and extract the files from it using an archiving tool (for example, 7zip).
  2. Run ScraperDecryptor.exe on the infected computer.

Running ScraperDecryptor

  1. Read the Kaspersky End User License Agreement. Click Accept if you agree with its terms.
  2. Click Change parameters.

  1. In the Objects to scan section, select the drives you want to scan. To delete encrypted files after the scan, select the checkbox in the Additional options section.
  2. Click OK.

  1. Click Start scan.

  1. Specify the path to one of the encrypted files.
  2. After successful decryption of the first file, copy all encrypted files to one folder and click Continue.

Files will be decrypted and their copies will be deleted.

To view:

  • Information about the scan, click Details.

  • A history of all scans performed previously, click Report in the top-right corner.
