This article discusses compatibility issues that may arise when using the “Protect against KeyLoggers” feature.

Compatibility

The Banking Protection feature protects your banking and credit card information from being intercepted by third-parties and key-logger software.

When the feature “Protect against Keyloggers” is enabled under Banking Protection, Sophos Home will encrypt keystrokes in order to provide an additional layer of security when performing actions such as typing your credit card information.  However, this feature may conflict with Text Expanding applications, as the contents may not appear at all, or become encrypted.

Workaround

If customers encounter an issue with a Text expanding applications or keyboard related problems, they may disable KeyLoggers protection as a workaround:
Log in to your Sophos Home Dashboard
Select the desired computer
Click on the PROTECTION tab
Click on Web and find the Safe Online Banking section
Click Advanced settings
Find Protect against Keyloggers and click on the right circle to disable it (turn it red).
