Instructions

The registration process for products purchased via a retail store or reseller differs from those purchased through AVG Online. When you purchase AVG in a retail store or from an AVG reseller, you may receive a box or email instructions which contain a unique code that needs to be registered.

Please follow the instructions below according to the AVG product you have purchased:

AVG Internet Security – Unlimited, AVG TuneUp – Unlimited, or Ultimate

  1. Visit the Registration Page
  2. Enter your unique code (found on the installation card included in the product box)
  3. Create your AVG MyAccount (or click Log in here if you already have one)
  4. Click Register and Activate
  5. Please follow download and activation instructions displayed after the registration or check your email for details

AVG AntiVirus, AVG Internet Security, AVG PC TuneUp

  1. Visit the Registration Page
  2. Enter your Sales number
  3. Fill in your personal information which allows support a link between you and your product
  4. Click Register
  5. Your License number will be generated. Please follow download and activation instructions displayed after the registration or check your email for details

Renewal or Upgrade of AVG AntiVirus, AVG Internet Security, AVG PC TuneUp

If you have purchased a renewal or upgrade through a reseller please follow the steps below:

  1. Visit the License Key Replacement Page
  2. Enter your upgrade/renewal key as well as your current AVG License Number
  3. Enter your email address to which your new AVG License Number will be sent
  4. Click Send Data
  5. Your new License Number as well as activation instructions will be sent to your email address
