I Forgot My Master Password
If you have forgotten your master password, as part of Password Vault’s security measure there is no way for anyone to recover it, not even us. You can, however, reset the vault to create a new one.
- Quit TotalAV
- Go to your Documents
- Find and Delete the folder TotalAV
- Restart your Computer
- Open TotalAV
You will now have a fresh version of Password Vault to use.
How Do I Change My Password
If you would like to change your Master Password, you can do so easily by following these steps:
- Open TotalAV
- Click the Key Icon > Enter your Master Password > Click Unlock
- Click the Key Icon on the Top Of The Screen
- Enter your Old Password
- Enter your New Password
- Confirm your New Password
You have now successfully changed your master Password

I Forgot My Master Password

- Open Finder
- Hold the Alt / Options key and click Go on the home bar
- Click Open Library
- Find and Open Folder TotalAV
- Find and Open Folder Data
- Delete Folder PWDM
You will now have a fresh version of Password Vault to use.
