You can add a new policy to protect your endpoint groups in Malwarebytes Nebula. The policy’s configuration determines how Malwarebytes interacts with your endpoints. To add a policy:

  1. Log into Malwarebytes Nebula.
  2. Click the Settings drop-down arrow on the left-side navigation pane.
  3. Click Policies.
  4. In the upper-right part of the page, click New.
  5. In the Policy page, enter a Policy name.
  6. Scroll up the page and click Save.

Once you’ve clicked Save, your new policy appears in policies list.

To nominate a policy to the Default Policy, check the box next to a policy and click Set as Default.

For an overview of the policy creation options, see Add, delete, or clone a policy in Malwarebytes Nebula.

Endpoint Interface Options

Endpoint Interface Options allow you to adjust the endpoint user experience. This controls what your end users see on their machines, and how they can interact with Malwarebytes software.

For an overview of the interface options, see Configure Endpoint agent settings in Malwarebytes Nebula.

Tamper Protection options

The Tamper Protection policy option in Malwarebytes Nebula protects endpoints by limiting end user ability to uninstall Malwarebytes. This also prevents malicious threats from stopping, modifying, or deleting Malwarebytes.

To find and toggle these option’s in the Nebula console, click Settings > Policies > select a policy > locate Tamper Protection.

For an overview of Tamper Protection, see Configure Tamper protection options in Malwarebytes Nebula.

General options

Policies define how Malwarebytes behaves when running a scheduled scan, using Real-Time Protection, or monitoring Suspicious Activity. To view general policy settings:
