• You have a new ESET Remote Administrator (ERA) Server with ERA 6.x already installed.
• Migrate your certificates and client computers to your new ERA Server

To finish migrating the certificates and client computers to your new ERA Server, complete the steps in each section below:

I. Migrate certificates to new server

II. Migrate client computers to new server

III. Change Server certificate to the correct one for your server

After completing the steps in section I and section II, you are ready to change the server certificate to the correct one for your new server, Server Two in this example. To do so, follow the steps below:

1. Open ESET Remote Administrator Web Console (ERA Web Console) in your web browser and log in.
2. Click Admin  → Server Settings → Change certificate.

3. Click Open certificate list.

4. Select the certificate and click OK.

5. Click Save.

To complete the certificate change, restart the ERA Server service. To restart the service:

6. Press the Windows key + R, type services.msc in the Open field and click OK.
7. Right-click ESET Remote Administrator Server and select Restart.

Your certificates and client computers have been successfully migrated to your new ERA server. If you have completed these steps for a test client computer, repeat the steps in section II and section III for the rest of your client computers.
