    North American customers: Yes, you will need to purchase ESET Cyber Security/ESET Cyber Security Pro and an ESET product for Windows.

    Customers outside North America: No, you do not need to purchase ESET Cybersecurity/ESET Cyber Security Pro and an ESET product for Windows. You can extend the protection of your ESET product to a parallel operating system on the same computer.

  15. Is there an ESET security product for the iPhone or iPad?
    No, ESET products for the iPhone and iPad do not currently exist.
  16. I have a question/issue that is not listed here, where can I go for additional ESET product support?

    You must set exclusions and exclude following folder:

Known Issues

  • ESET Cyber Security Pro is blocking incoming audio in Skype.
    • To allow the incoming audio in Skype, create a new exception for Skype in the firewall settings. See our Knowledgebase article to resolve the issue.
  • macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) contains a security feature which requires a user approval before loading new third-party kernel extensions.
  • Text is missing in firewall dialogues in your ESET product for Mac.
    Products affected:

    • ESET Cyber Security Pro 6.10.600.0 and later
    • ESET Cyber Security 6.10.600.0 and later
    • ESET Endpoint Security for Mac 6.10.900.0 and later
    • ESET Endpoint Antivirus for Mac 6.10.900.0 and later

    You can resolve this issue by rebooting your computer.

  • Parental Control is not working after enabled on macOS BigSur.
    • If Parental Control is turned on while Web and Email Protection is turned off, Parental Control will not work. To fix this issue:
      • Restart your computer or ESET Cyber Security Pro.
      • Turn on Web and Email Protection.
  • Firewall is disabled after upgrading the product from 6.10.600.0 to 6.10.700.0 on macOS BigSur.
      1. Open ESET Cyber Security Pro.
      2. On the Home screen. click Firewall.
      3. Click the Network traffic filtering toggle-switch to change it to the Enabled position.
