Solution

To determine which version of ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 for Linux Desktop you should download, first determine whether you have a 32-bit or 64-bit operating system using one of the two methods below:

Method 1

Open the Terminal window, type the following command and press ENTER:

arch

The system type will display as i686 / i386 (32-bit) or x86_64 (64-bit).

If this command does not work for your distribution, proceed to Method 2.

Method 2

Open the Terminal window, type the following command and press ENTER:

uname -m

The system type will display as i686 or i386 (32-bit) or x86_64 (64-bit).

Once you know the bit architecture of your system, download the ESET product for your license and system version using one of the links below:
