If Windows does not want to perform an update due to incompatible Avira programs, the cause is not the installed product.
During the check, Microsoft searches your hard disks (both internal and external) for files with specific names. If it finds an old Avira installation file on your hard disk, Windows stops the update process.
We recommend that you remove external hard disks prior to the update process, and search the internal disk for old setup files and delete them.
