Instructions on how to manage F-Secure Linux Protection using SolarWinds MSP.

Monitoring a Linux device and the status of the F-Secure Linux Protection software in it requires that SolarWinds’s own Linux agent is running on the device. You can find the installation instructions in the Install a Linux agent section of the N-Central User Guide.

Note: Automating the installation of the F-Secure Linux Protection software on remote devices is not possible due to limited Linux device support in MSP N-Central. The installation instructions of the F-Secure Linux Protection software are available here.

After you have installed the software, turn on the RMM upstream reporting service by running the following command as a root user:/opt/f-secure/linuxsecurity/bin/setup-rmmd.sh install

Note: When you do not need the service any more, you can remove it with the uninstall option.
