This article will help you to reactivate your G DATA Antivirus, Internet Security or Total Protection if it’s already installed on your PC but the license has expired.

If the license of G DATA has expired, you can reactivate it without having to reinstall the software.

You simply need a valid Registration Number or Login Credentials (User Name and Password).

If you have purchased a brand new license, use your Registration Number to activate the software, however if you have already received your Login Credentials you should use those instead.

If you have just purchased the product but do not know where to find your Registration Number, check the following article:
How to find your Registration Number

If you do not know where to find your Login Credentials or you don’t know if they are still valid, check the following article:
How to find your Login Credentials

Once you have the information required to reactivate the program, proceed as follows:

Step 1. Open your G DATA software.

Step 2. Click Login credentials on the bottom left hand. This will open the section Updates of the Settings Menu.

Step 3.

A. If you are using your Registration Number, click Activate new license… on the right hand side.

A new window called Activate license will open. Fill in the requested information then click Activate now at the bottom of the window.

B. If you are using your Login Credentials, simply remove the existing content of the fields User Name and Password, then replace them with your currently valid Login Credentials.

Step 4. Click OK at the bottom of the window to confirm.

Step 5. This will get you back to the main window of your G DATA program and the expiration date on the bottom left hand will now be updated.
